Lost Balls Invitational If you're gonna suck ... suck fast!
Lost Balls Invitational History
2013 Results Summary

Remember that time we all went golfing during a tropical storm? Yeah, that just happened! 2013 will certainly go down as the wettest LBI in record, yet as we seem to say every year, it was also one of the best.
I don’t know what was more remarkable, the fact the courses actually let us play during the torrential downpours, or that nobody – not one single member of this sixteen man crew – complained…at least not audibly. Despite the abundance of activities not requiring direct contact with the elements (indoor arcades, movie theaters, cross fit sessions in the condo living room); no one was willing to forego a round of golf just to stay dry. That is some serious LBI devotion! Hell, even our caddies were out there shot-gunning beers in the sideways rain and 30mph wind gusts. Were the scores good? Who the hell cares! We squeezed 4 rounds of golf into what will likely be the worst weather weekend of the summer…and we did it laughing (and shirtless).
The 2013 LBI was surreal in its absurdity. We had duck-calls and ball gags, sake bombs and shotguns. There was an outdoor breakdancing contests (where you always hug it out afterwards to make sure no one gets stabbed), a prime rib dinner in a restaurant that looked like my grandmother’s living room, and a turtle infestation at Tidewater which almost resulted in me losing a finger. Tropical storm Andrea, caddies in short skirts, more shotguns, two rookies making a big impacts – one rocked out in a sweet pair of knickers, and the other with strongest push yet to win it all in their first year only to feel the pressure in the final round (and by pressure I mean insurmountable buffoonery). Air RV replaced Ground RV yet Bos still found a way to fight the RV trend (free drinks in first class = no brainer upgrade!). Ranger rage at Glen Dornoch (“Here’s a tip, when you’re harassing a group for perceived slow play, at least make sure you’re pointing to the correct group on the tee sheet when you cite the time”), but shirtless love at Tidewater (“In my 15-years, I’ve never seen that”). Also, there were shotguns.
Yes, we had it all and then some in 2013. Can’t wait to do it all again next year…
